About
Insignia Crown began with one complaint about every durag we had ever owned: the tie dug in, the velvet thinned out, and by month three the wave was gone. So we made seven pieces the way they should be made — cut long, stitched twice, and lined in silk where the fabric meets hair.
Nothing here is thin satin stretched over a cheap band. Every bonnet is lined with 22-momme mulberry silk, every durag is four-way stretch velvet, and every scrunchie is cut wide enough to hold without leaving a crease. Wash them, wear them nightly, hand them down.
Made for the wave, the braid, the loc and the edge.
